Kim Walker of Regina is in first place heading into Thursday’s final round of the Saskatchewan senior women’s golf championship in Warman.
Walker, from the Wascana Country Club, was at 7-over-par 151 after 36 holes at the Legends Golf Course. Lorie Boyle of Moose Jaw was two strokes off the pace.
Walker is seeking her second provincial senior women’s title, having won that event in 2019.
At the provincial senior men’s championship, also in Warman, defending-champion Rick Hallberg of Weyburn shot a 7-under-par 65 on Wednesday to carry a six-shot lead into the final round.
George Janson, a Legends member and the 2006 champion, was six strokes off the pace. Swift Current’s Brent Wotypka was seven back.
