Dog Bone Recreational has donated a scooter to the High River Legion Branch #71.
The scooter is meant for seniors who maybe have a tough time getting around. It can be used anywhere like at home, outside or in a store.
The High River Legion is now selling raffle tickets until Sept. 25 for the donated scooter. Those interested can buy their raffle tickets by visiting the High River Legion. They also sold raffle tickets at the weekly High River Farmers market which runs every Thursday, so look for a Legion booth with a scooter there.
Dog Bone Recreational, located in Aldersyde sell and service a lot of mobility scooters for the High River, Okotoks area and also many people in Calgary. They also are a motorsports company and they take care of ATV’s, dirt bikes and pretty much anything recreational. They are one of the leaders in Canada when it comes to selling parts for any of these electrical devices and will service your device if you already own one. They sell batteries and tires and also offer deliveries.
Why did Dog Bone Recreational make this donation?
There are a lot of reasons,” said Harley See of Dog Bone Recreational.
“We have worked with the Legion before. We just want to give back to the guys who have really helped build our community.”
“We know that many businesses like the Legion haven’t been able to be open during COVID. We know they maybe haven’t been able to do the same amount of fundraisers under normal circumstances and this is just a way for us to help them so they can continue to help others.” Said Sonja Perrault of Dog Bone Recreational.
