The High River Performing Arts Foundation has been chosen as a Host Celebration Site again this year, which means that they were awarded a grant to help sponsor and promote different cultural events in our community throughout the month. Knowing how interwoven our cultural community is in High River and area, Dinah VanDonzel, a HRPAF volunteer, has been instrumental in pursuing this grant again this year. Together with the help of a committee, they have created a program of events that is diverse and entertaining. VanDonzel reached out to local artists to invite them to take part in representing the arts community in High River and got a great response with so many wanting to take part. “I’m really excited that we put together such a great program of activities. It’s going to be awesome.”
